For Pakistani applicants seeking to travel to Saudi Arabia, recent requirements from the Saudi Consulate have been introduced regarding the photograph. These guidelines aim to streamline the application process and ensure that all submissions meet the necessary standards.

Following are the guidelines that every Pakistani applicant should know before submitting their visa application.

1. The photo must be recent, old photos will never be accepted, even if they meet all the requirements of the consulate.

2. Copying the photo from the passport is strictly prohibited under any circumstances.

3. The photo must be colored and the background must be white.

4. Side photos or photos with incomplete faces will not be accepted.

5. The photo must not have been edited in any way using computer software or mobile apps.

6. If the face is not clear in the photo due to glasses, then take the photo without glasses.

7. Photos that are not clear due to lack of light, excess or poor printing will not be accepted.

8. Photos must be in civilian clothes. Not in professional uniforms (military, medical, etc.).

9. Photos with staples in the middle or on the edges or with visible staple marks will not be accepted.

10. If head covering is worn, the forehead must be visible, whether male or female.

11. The eyes must not be closed in the photo (this is not necessary for photos of newborns).

12. The shoulder must be visible in the photo (this is not necessary for photos of newborns).
