Government announces the Latest SOPs and Guidelines for Hajj 2025

The Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) has unveiled comprehensive arrangements for the upcoming Hajj operation in 2025. To ensure a smooth and efficient process, they have released Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) specifically designed for employees involved in facilitating the pilgrimage. These guidelines cover various aspects, including eligibility requirements, application procedures, and important dates to be followed. According to the latest guidelines, staff members from SG Group 1 through 11 can apply for Hajj duty if they meet specific prerequisites. These requirements include having at least five years of employment and being medically fit to handle the demanding tasks involved in this operation.
The evaluation procedure is scheduled for February 4, 2025 at the PAA main office. To participate in this process, employees should submit their applications through their department directors, airport managers, or branch offices.
The PAA has stated that workers assigned to serve during Hajj will be disqualified from undertaking the pilgrimage themselves. Additionally, individuals currently under investigation or facing disciplinary measures are also ineligible for duty at Hajj.
